Silicone cosmetic restoration (fingers, feet, hands, ear, nose)
Prostheses in medical-grade silicone, moulded and hand-coloured to match the sound side, restoring a natural shape and confidence.
Indications
- Loss of fingers or toes after trauma
- Partial hand or foot deficiency
- Facial defects (ear, nose) — in specialist coordination
- A cosmetic cover over a functional prosthesis
Key features
- Soft, elastic, skin-safe medical silicone
- Moulded from the opposite side with nail and skin-crease detail
- Multi-layer colour-matching for skin tone, freckles, veins
- Held by suction, skin adhesive or a retaining ring
- Periodic servicing and refresh
A cosmetic restoration does not replace movement function, but for many people restoring the natural shape of a hand or foot matters a great deal for confidence and social interaction.
We mould from the opposite body part to reproduce proportion, then build nail, joint and skin-crease detail. Colour is hand-blended in layers to catch light like real skin, including freckles and subcutaneous veins.
The restoration is held by suction, medical skin adhesive or a retaining ring depending on the site. Medical silicone is durable, easy to clean and is usually refreshed after 2–4 years of use.
